Turbine Surface Technology have been helping coordinate individual donations from its employees to support the East Midlands Polish Scouting Association’s Ukraine Crisis Appeal. All the items will be transported to Poland to assist in the provision of vital relief to Ukrainian refugees arriving in the country.
Essential goods collected included tinned and dried food, blankets and sleeping bags, as well as toiletries, medical items, clothes and baby supplies. These will be delivered by truck, one of which was loaded over the weekend before leaving on Sunday to its final destination in Poland. So far, is estimated that Poland have welcomed over 1.4 million refugees.
